Relax & Refresh

After enjoying over a month of winter break between semesters, getting back into my school routine has been a little overwhelming. To calm the stress, I decided to figure out ways to treat myself. Spending time alone is completely underrated. Taking even a few minutes a day to relax has helped me wind down these first few weeks of the spring semester. So, what do I recommend? First of all, Candles! Even if you don’t have a lot of time, I have found that simply lighting candles calms me down. However, if you have a little more time to relax I highly recommend bath bombs! Taking a bath with a bath bomb is the key to de-stressing! Lastly, if you’re really in the mood to treat yourself I enjoy snacking on little sweets while doing homework. These champagne gummy bears from Sugarfina are one of my favorites! It seems to keep me motivated and make studying a little more bearable! These are just a few things that keep me going during the week. Finding what keeps you going and taking time for you is essential to staying optimistic and motivated!
