Reims, France

My family and I took a day trip from Paris to Reims which is also known as the Champagne region of the world! As a lover of champagne, I was so excited to see where it is made and comes from. We chose to tour our personal favorite, Maison Veuve Clicquot!
The stairs down to the cellar
The cellar was so big that I am surprised I did not get lost in there. It is lit up with their signature yellow color. The tour guide was also very clear and it was really interesting to hear about the history behind Veuve's founding.
My favorite part of the tour was the tasting! We got to taste three different champagnes and it was fun to compare them directly by switching off glasses.
After the tour, we went shopping in their gift shop, which was like heaven to me! They had anything and everything you could think of from fridges to totes to coolers. Let's just say we had a little too much fun in the gift shop.
Aside from the champagne region, Reims is actually a charming little town! We walked around for about an hour and it kind of felt like a mini Paris. I would highly recommend the day trip!
