Padella

Right around the corner from Borough Market is this Italian food heaven!!!! Don't hate me for saying this, but I rarely enjoy ordering pasta dishes because they are such large portions and often overwhelmingly filling. Padella serves amazing dishes in the perfect portion size. 

What Garlic Dreams are Made of

I highly recommend sitting at the bar stools and going with just a friend or two! They don't take reservations (because you have to wait for the good things in life ;), so if you show up with a larger party you will probably wait a while and sit downstairs. While the food tastes the same downstairs, I personally loved watching them cook while I enjoyed my meal! 

Above all, I always keep in mind how the service is at busy and popular restaurants like Padella! Not so much how fast my food comes out, but rather if they are obviously trying to rush me out. Aside from the food, I would recommend/ go back to Padella because they allowed us to enjoy our wine after our meal and ~enjoy~ our experience there.
